A society grows great when the elderly plant trees in whose shade they know they will never sit. As society grows, it leaves behind part of what it was. Here is the history of those places that were once light on the road but will never be again. Different countries, different cultures and different reasons. War, development, need, no matter the reason or those who considered it home. Today they are only memories and different lands.
